James has worked as a studio jeweler since 1998.
“I design pieces using techniques including fabrication, lost wax casting, and stone setting. I earned an art degree from UW-Stout, now years back in the rear view mirror.
My work involves contemporary designs in sterling silver and gold. Jewelry pieces are based on variations in geometric shape and fluid natural forms. I strive to design pieces that create a tension and balance which are exciting to look at and wear.
Pendants, rings, and earrings, make up my usual inventory, designing jewelry with unique character for people who choose to wear highly individualized pieces”.
